InTears of the Kingdom, some armor is locked behind side quests or side adventures. This especially seems to be the case for the cameo outfits/armor, including the Island Lobster Shirt thatWind WakerLink wore. If players want to add this shirt to their collection, they’ll need to complete the side quest “Dad’s Blue Shirt.”
Players can find the chest containing theIsland Lobster Shirtin Lurelin Village. However, Lurelin Village is completely destroyed and overrun by monsters inTears of the Kingdom. There are several prerequisites to unlocking the side quest, so players will want to have Link equipped with his best armor and weapons when making his first Lurelin Village visit.

The “Dad’s Blue Shirt” side quest is received from a young boy namedZuta. However, Lurelin Village is raieded by monsters and devoid of its habitants, who have fled to various corners of Hyrule. While it’s entirely possible to run into Zuta and his family, the side quest won’t be added to the Adventure Loguntil he’s back home.
Players will first want to clear outall the monsters in Lurelin Village. They’ll notice a giant health bar at the top of the screen when they step into the village/monster territory. Link will need toclear out every monsterin the area. If he leaves, he’ll have to start over. Be sure to check theLurelin Village’s well, too, since there’s a Bokoblin hiding underground.
After Lurelin Village has been saved, Link will need to speak toBolsonto start Lurelin Village’s reconstruction. He’ll need15 logsand20 Hylian Rice:
Repair Lurelin Village’s Restaurant
Once players have given Bolson the logs and rice, they can start repairing the buildings. Choose to repair theRestaurant. This will bring backZuta and his family, allowing players to unlock the “Dad’s Blue Shirt” side quest. It doesn’t matter if players haven’t completed all of Lurelin Village’s renovations. As long asthe restaurant is repaired, players can get the side quest.

From Lurelin Village’s restaurant, go down to the shoreline, and players will see Zuta peering out at the sea. Speak to him to get the side quest “Dad’s Blue Shirt.” He’ll tell Link that his father’s favorite shirt was locked away in a metallic chest. He suspects it sank to the bottom of the sea when the pirates/monsters attacked, and he’s right.
How to Reach the Treasure Chest
The chest’s exact coordinates are2922, -3524, 0000. Unfortunately, it’s all the way out in the middle of the sea, meaning Link won’t be able to reach it unless he has a platform to stand on. However, there’swooden debris next to the pierat the coordinates2875, -3500, 0000.

It’s revealed that the cherished blue shirt that Zuta’s father was talking about wasn’t the Island Lobster Shirt after all. Regardless, he’ll give Link the shirt as thanks for finding it.
The Island Lobster Shirt will give Linklevel 1Heat Resistancefrom dry areas such as the Gerudo Region. On the downside, the shirt has abase defense of 1. Unlike theTunic of the Wind Set, the Island Lobster Shirtcan’t be upgraded.
