NateDrake has made some claims aboutNintendo Switch Pro exclusive gamesin the past, and he is also known for being an insider in the Nintendo world. On a recent episode of his podcast, NateDrake said that he could see an anniversary collection forThe Legend of Zelda, much like theSuper Mario 3D All-Stars collection.

NateDrake believes that a collection forZeldawould include theWii U versions ofTwilight PrincessandWind Wakerwith minimal updates. The games were already updated for HD on the Wii U, so putting the games on one package would be simple for Nintendo. When it comes toOcarina of TimeandMajora’s Mask, however, he believes that the games will not be a part of the same collection. Instead, they will simply be in the digital eShop.

NateDrake is confident that bothThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of TimeandThe Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Maskwill be available by the end of the year for the switch. It is possible that the games would be upgraded for the Nintendo Switch with HD graphics, newer controllers and gameplay, and a more refined experience, but the games may also be pure ports.

It is important to note that all of this should be taken with a grain of salt; nothing is confirmed yet. A lot of the discussion on the podcast seemed like speculation, even if it was said with confidence. It is entirely possible that the entire year will go by and Nintendo will have never mentioned the 35-year anniversary ofThe Legend of Zeldaand the only thing it did to “celebrate” the occasion wasSkyward Swordon the Switch and a new trailer ofZelda:Breath of the Wild 2at E3.
