How To Change Console Background
There are two ways to access the background customization menu. Players can either do it throughMy Games & Apps > Apps > Settings > General > Personalization; or by pressing the Select Button on the Home Screen to open the Customize page, then selectingPersonalize Your Background and Theme > My Background.

How it works
Solid color and game art
There are 23 solid colors to choose from in this customization option. It may seem like only the solid color shows up, but this is only until the user opens a game. This only happens until a game is launched, then the game’s game art will appear as the console’s background.
Achievement art
Choosing this option will take the user to the Achievements screen. It can also be done simply by going to this screen without opening the Settings folder. The player should select an achievement with their preferred art and select it, then scroll down to the “set as background” option and select it. This is a great chance toadd one’s favorite gamepictures as their background without having to download it from a USB drive.
Customized image
The Customized Image option allows players to pick whatever image they like as their Xbox Series X/S background. To do this, the user has to choose an image and put it in a USB drive, then connect it to their console. After this, the USB drive will appear when this open is chosen. Microsoft has even created dozens of backgrounds for players to take advantage of, they’ve beenuploaded to this websiteand they’re free to download. Players should note that the file has to be smaller than 3 MB.

With the Screenshot option, users can choose any screenshot that they may have on their Xbox network and on their Xbox console. To do this, they only have to select the image they’d like to choose, then select “more actions” and then “set as background.”
Dynamic background
Dynamic backgrounds are images that have certain elements that move. This option has three tabs “games,” “Xbox,” and “abstract.” After going through all of them and deciding on a favorite, players can choose the image they prefer simply by selecting it.
