Once Humanis a new post-apocalyptic open-world multiplayer survival game that pulls influences from a bunch of other video games. Being one of the most wish-listed games on Steam over the last few months, many players are waiting by their gaming PCs for the game to drop. Is Once Human Free?
To get right to it,Once Humanis a free to download game on PC. Yes, that means starting tomorrow, you’re able to hop on Steam or the Epic Store, hit that download button, and then start playing once it’s installed without paying a buck. You’ll also be able to play online with friends and strangers alike and get the full experience without worrying aboutpay-to-win mechanics. However, there will be microtransactions that fans can opt into if they really want to.
Starry Studio, the team behindOnce Human, has mentioned that the microtransactions will mostly be cosmetic items and will not give paying players any advantages in actual gameplay.Once Humanruns on a seasonal model, so players can expect new paid items to be dropped in-game every couple of months or so.
IfOnce Humandoes end up making it to the major consoles, like PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, we expect it to befree to download as well, but we won’t know until the announcement is made by the team.
