TheCall of Dutycommunity is often known as one of the more toxic gaming groups, as players are generally very competitive. This is likely why oneCall of Duty: Vanguardplayer was particularly surprised by the wholesome actions of another. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of all was the fact that the twoCall of Duty: Vanguardplayers were on opposing teams.

A similar wholesome action also took place when a player needed afinal achievement before theHalo 4servers shut downat the beginning of the year. One player was missing a single achievement from the game and reached out on Twitter to see if anyone could help them. The community obliged, and another user joined a Ricochet match and allowed themselves to be killed so that the player was able to receive their final achievement forHalo 4right before the servers shut down.

TheCall of Duty: Vanguardplayer that received help was becoming frustrated by not being able to get prone kills in order to complete a challenge in the game. A player on the opposing team noticed this and struck a deal to complete a challenge they were struggling to finish themselves. The opposing player completed their challenge by getting seven long shot kills after the user recording had allowed him to. The recording player was then allowed to kill the opposing gamer while prone to complete his own challenge.

Thankfully, both players were able to finish their challenges and unlock their respective camos, asCall of Duty: Vanguardzombies mode had a glitch that prevented players from unlocking a camo. The Dark Aether camo requires all other previous camos to be unlocked before one can unlock it. The issue was the result of some other lower-tier weapon camos that had become bugged and impossible to unlock, but it has since been patched.

Thankfully,Sledgehammer Games is also fixingCall of Duty: Vanguard’s spawn system, which many players have had an issue with since launch. Users often felt that the game would spawn them too close to enemies and put them at a disadvantage, which is why the developer is set to make changes to the spawn system.

Another less seriousglitch that someCall of Duty: Vanguardplayers are experiencing is causing them to run on walls. The glitch does not seem to be too prevalent but can cause players to end up on the side of a wall if they die in a certain way.

Call of Duty: Vanguardis currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
