Players will gain access to Julie’s Gearworks,Infinite Wealth’s version of Romance Workshop, in Chapter 4 during “Substory 20: A Better Bat.” Julie’s Gearworks is located on Hula Avenue in Honolulu.

At Julie’s Gearworks, players can craft, upgrade, and brand weapons for each of Infinite Wealth’s jobs, and can exchange unused weapons for materials used in upgrading. Investing in the Gearworks unlocks new crafting recipes and brands that players can augment to empower these weapons once upgraded. However, before any of these powerful weapons can be crafted, players will first need to get their hands on the right materials.

InLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, crafting weapons requires players to gather materials and accumulate sufficient funds for the crafting process. The primary crafting materials consist of various types of elemental shards categorized into three quality tiers. These materials are crucial for crafting high-quality weapons in Infinite Wealth, including powerful 6★ and 7★ weapons. Here’s where players can find Fragments, Geodes, and Crystals inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Where to Get Fragments

Fragmentsare the lowest tier of this type of crafting material inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Players will begin collecting Fragments in the game’s earliest chapters, where they can easily find these materialslocated nearly everywherethroughout Hawaii and Isezaki Ijincho. Players can find Fragments by collecting sparkling items found throughout the game world, by opening silver suitcases and dumpsters, and bytreasure hunting under cars and vending machines.

Players can also exchange special currencies for Fragments by visiting theHawaiian Haunt, unlocked in Chapter 3, andYokohama Dungeon, in Chapter 6 ofLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. NPCs at each of these locations will sell Fragments for 10 Robo Disks or 10 Geomijul’s Survey Data, respectively. Players will obtain these currencies by defeating enemies and mini-bossesthroughout theseInfinite Wealthdungeonsand, again, by collecting sparkling items found within.

Each location will sell Fragments for $80 or ¥8,000 and also offers players the opportunity to exchange Fragments for Geodes, the next tier of crafting material.

There are five types of Fragments players can discover, including Iron Fragment, Electric Fragment, Ice Fragment, Lava Fragment, and Rainbow Fragment. Elemental Fragments are used in crafting 1★, 2★ and 3★ weapons inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, while Iron Fragments are used to upgrade weapons.

In the later chapters ofLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s story, the enemies in Hawaii will become stronger. Players can then obtain Geodes regularly by defeating enemies level 38 or higher, including similarly leveledspecial Sujimon Raid enemies. They can also be found in via treasure hunting in dumpsters.

There are four types of Geodes players can obtain inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: Electric Geode, Ice Geode, Lava Geode, and Rainbow Geode. The upgrade material equivalent to the Geode is Iron Chunk, obtainable through similar means and via the game’s Aloha Links system.

Where to Get Crystals

Crystalsare the highest tier crafting material inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthand are necessary to craft 6★ and 7★ weapons at Julie’s Gearworks. Crystals are challenging for players to get their hands on through enemy encounters, so the most reliable method of obtaining Crystals for crafting will be to utilize the various Exchanges.

Players can purchase Crystals from NPCs found outside theHawaiian Hauntin Honolulu andYokohama Dungeonin Isezaki Ijincho. These vendors will sell Crystals for 250 Robo Disks or 250 Geomijul’s Survey Data, obtained by defeating enemies and collecting treasures in each of these dungeons. Again, all four types of Crystal are available for purchase, including Electric Crystal, Ice Crystal, Lava Crystal, and Rainbow Crystal.

Players will likely have a small stockpile of the previous tier’s crafting materials they can exchange with Nolan in Hawaii or at the General Goods Cart in Japan to receive Crystals. Finally, level 42 or higher enemies encountered inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s final chapters have a low chance of dropping Crystals when defeated.
