Meloettais a Normal/Psychic-type Melody Pokemon introduced in generation 5 of the mainline series,Pokemon BlackandPokemon Whitefor the DS. WhenScarletandVioletcame out, there was no way to catch Meloetta in the wild, but thanks to the addition ofThe Indigo DiskDLC, you may now catch the form-changingMythical Pokemoninside Blueberry Academy’s Terarium; however, the process to encounter it is quite specific and takes a few steps to accomplish. Thankfully, players can catch Meloetta inThe Indigo Diskwithout completing the main storyline.
How to Get Meloetta in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC
You can get Meloetta in The Indigo Disk’s Coastal Biome in a field not too far east of the Coastal Outdoor Classroom and west of the Coastal Rest Area. We’ll put up a video below of where to find Meloetta’s location.
In this field, you’ll see several plants that are a few inches taller than the player character. If you go close to the one in the screenshot below, you’ll start to see leaves and the breeze swirling around clockwise.

We didn’t find this out on our own, so we need to credit the Pokemon community.Hsinhsung9487on Twitter attributes the findings to a code-cracking server founded bysoulsilverartandpalkiaorigin, but apparently, the actual discovery was made by an anonymous user on 4chan. Either way, we want to be transparent and give credit where it’s due.
How to Change Meloetta’s Form in The Indigo Disk DLC
Meloetta has two different forms it can switch to. ItsAria formis its normal form with the green coloring, but it can change intoPirouette form(orange coloring) using a move calledRelic Song. In Aria form, Meloetta is a Normal/Psychic-type, but in the other form, it turns into a Normal/Fighting-type Pokemon. Meloetta will return to Aria form once a battle ends.

Meloetta will be level 70 when you encounter it and will know the following moves:

Meloetta, in its normal state, is only weak to Dark and Bug-type moves. However, in its Fighting form, it takes double damage from Flying, Psychic,Fighting, and Fairy moves.
