LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Content and Hubs
From previous games, as well as the coupleLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagatrailersout there, fans may mostly know what to expect. However, a gameplay trailer would be much preferable. Since this is the first timeThe Last JediandRise of Skywalker will appear in a game, it would make a lot of sense to show shots of various characters exploring new areas and locations. Perhaps the most interesting locations could be the hubs.
It’s well known thatLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s hub are interactive, with events like a TIE Fighter attack being possible. Showing these off would add more flavor to the game outside its natural LEGO tendencies, and it would do well to help the game stand out. As such, that should be the goal of this trailer: to stand out among the other games there.
It’s well within the realm of possibility that the game features new content not seen in past games, or expanded features like in-depthlightsaber creation alongside a character customizer. These always make the games feel a little more about home, so seeing a screen of building a LEGO lightsaber would be quite eye-catching.
Furthermore, any new or improved gameplay mechanics, changes to older planets, or the like would be interesting to see in a quick highlight. Overall, just about anything that is new, improved, or a big change from the standardLEGO gamefare would be the main draws for a newLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagatrailer.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Release Date
The biggest elephant in the room isLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s release date. The delays are entirely understandable, but when that trailer comes to an end, it’ll hopefully showcase an exact date, not a new window. It’s possible it releases this year, but it’s also equally possible it launches next year. Fans who have waited patiently deserve that answer, no matter which way it goes, but a June 14, 2025 (as a random example) would be better than a Q1 2022. Obviously, there’s the hope it comes sooner, but there’s no telling at this point.
Either way, a few more days and fans will know. As basically the biggestStar Warsgame publicly known to be releasingany time soon, a lot of eyes are on it to give a classic, yet revitalized experience.
