Marvel’s Spider-Man 2from Insomniac Games is finally coming out on July 13, 2025, for the PlayStation 5 (sorry, PS4 owners). Miles Morales and Peter Parker’s latest venture will revolve around iconic spidey villains like Venom, The Sandman,Kraven, and maybe some other secret baddies.

Most developers these days tend to share the global release times for major launches on Twitter, but theSpider-Manteam seems to be waiting until later in the week, or they might not even do it at all.
With that being said, the PlayStation Store does seem to share info on the page forSpider-Man 2, but the digital release times seem to vary for different players and can be inconsistent.
Luckily, oneRedditorreached out to a PlayStation customer support rep to ask about the release times, and they responded, stating that “Spider-Man 2 will be released at midnight on October 20 in your local timezone.” Of course, this is not an official statement from the development team, so take it with a grain of salt.
There are still reports that people in the US who are not on the East Coast can hop into the game a few hours before midnight, however. For example, people in California should be able to playSpider-Man 2at 9 p.m. local time, while those in a city like Chicago can play at 11 p.m. local time.
