Like Markus Kruber, Victor also gets access to the Greatsword, though he does so a bit later on. Still, this is one of Victor’s most synergistic weapons due to the wide push angle, allowing him to dish out some reliable amounts of crowd control so thatother teammatescan clean up the horde.
As with Markus' Greatswords, however, Victor’s Greatsword also comes with the same disadvantage, which is the slow swing speed. Players might find themselves getting outgunned by their teammates with faster weapons. Still, those with enough patience will find this weapon ideal for Victor.
The Flail can be a polarizing weapon for many Victor players since it initially appears to be inaccurate. However, players only need to practice some more with this weapon so they can truly see its potential. The Flail is one of the best crowd-control tools for Victor.

There’s also the fact that it’s excellent against shielded enemies. The wide sweeps also mean players don’t need to worry too much about aiming once they’ve gotten used to the swing timing. Still, don’t expect any stellar damage from this one, as it’s mostly a horde weapon.
The Bill Hook is another polarizing weapon merely due to the fact that its primary light attack animation performs poorly against hordes. But there’s a way to circumvent this. Players will just have to shove their enemies and then follow up with two light swings.
Forget about the Light Attack chain, the above method is more optimal. If done right and consistently, the Bill Hook easily becomes a versatile weapon capable of dealing with hordes and armored elites alike. And despite the narrow block angle, the added melee range keeps players relatively safe.
The Crossbow is a great pairing for a melee weapon that focuses on horde enemies or crowd control. This ranged tool mostly focuses on granting players the advantage of killing armored enemies and elites from afar. The bolts will piece the initial target and continue on to the enemy behind them.

It’s a great method for taking out any potential and looming threat on the horizon before they can even do damage to the party. Sure enough, this weapon isn’t ideal for dealing with lots of enemies. The low ammo count and the rather slow firing rate reinforces that fact.
If players want a ranged weapon that shifts its focus to multiple enemies, then the Volley Crossbow is a more apt tool for the job. It’s practically theshotgun equivalentof a crossbow, meaning it will decimate multiple enemies at close to medium ranges.
That makes it great against hordes of small targets. Consequently, it’s not good against armored enemies or bosses. Players will need another tool for that. And the low ammunition count also means players can’t spam the shots and arrows too much.
Again, players don’t need to grind too much if they want one of the best ranged weapons for VictorinVermintide 2.He already has it as early as Level 1 in the form of the Brace of Pistols. These are practically a belt of single-use pistols that Victor discards after use, firing one after the other.
