PopularTwitchstreamer Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam has revealed just how many Twitch subscriptions he’s gifted throughout 2022. Although he’s primarily known onTwitch for gambling streamswith massive viewer counts, Trainwreck is also a prominent member of the Amazon streaming platform that gives back a lot of the money that he receives through subscriptions, donations, and bits over the year.

During a livestream on December 14,Twitchstreamer Trainwreck confirmed that he has gifted a whopping 24,346 subscriptions to various channels on the Amazon platform. Subscriptions are just among one way that Twitch viewers can give back to their favorite streamers, and it’s a primary metric of success through the monthly statistics that each livestreamer has access to. While Trainwreck has helped grow multiple smaller channels with these generously gifted subs, Twitch subscription leaders include Kai Cenat, xQc, Casimoto, HasanAbi, and Asmongold which hold the top five positions on the website currently.

According to Trainwreck, the information that he revealed on December 14 neglected to note theTwitch bitsthat he’s given away, as well as StreamLabs and StreamElements donations which would have added to the equation. The popular Twitch streamer stated that he does a lot of gifting and donating off-stream that he doesn’t share with his audience which may hint at the full sum of money that he’s given to other livestreamers like him. Because a base Twitch subscription costs $4.99, Trainwreck has gifted $121,486.54 worth of subs in 2022 according to the statistics that he’s revealed, assuming each one is tier 1.

A large chunk of Trainwreck’s gifted subscriptions, donations, and bits are aimed at smaller creators which is an audience that he hopes to attract to his livestreaming platform, Kick. The popularTwitch streamer confirmed last yearthat he had given away millions of dollars as well which points to the continued philanthropy of Trainwreck who also set up a mental health fund. Though Twitch has banned gambling since Trainwreck gained in popularity, viewers can still catch some of his gambling escapades through Kick, his social media channels, and the occasional hints through his regular Just Chatting streams.

Despite his continued patronage with smaller Twitch streamers, more popular livestreamers have been vocal with criticism aboutTrainwreck’s new platform called Kickwhich only takes 5% in subscription money. Facing a bit of backlash for the move to Kick, Trainwreck has also confirmed that he’s donating $10,000 to 50 people through a holiday giveaway that began on December 12.
