The Simsseries has been around for 22 years now, which makes it all the more surprising that it’s only on the fourth main installment. Part of that reason is that there’s a never-ending demand for more content in the way of DLC expansion packs, something each and every installment has been happy to provide players with. Now a leaker has revealed the latest DLC forThe SIms 4, which will bring the total number of expansions to an even dozen and apparently allow Sims to get married in style.

Previous DLC packs forThe Sims 4have added all manner of new features and settings, from islands to cities to cottage living. Most of the packs including a brand-new world to explore, and if that’s not enough there’s all manner of content including game packs, stuff packs, and kits to purchase.

So now the latest DLC is calledThe Sims 4 ‘My Wedding Stories’ DLC, according to leakers on Twitter who found this information in a “dark corner” and shared the happy marital images. Considering how essential managing relationships is to aSimstitle it’s a little surprising that this feature didn’t come earlier, but it does seem stacked with everything a player could imagine. The features include planning the wedding, choosing ‘Sims of Honor’ for the ceremony, the engagement dinner, rehearsal, and even potentially a bachelor/bachelorette party. The DLC pack will apparently feature a brand new world known as Tartosa, a romantic getaway for Sims. Hopefullyplayers know how to nurture their Sims relationshipsto let this all happen.

It’s been nearly eight years sinceThe Sims 4was released, but it shows no sign of slowing down. EA has found a goldmine with these non-stop DLC pack releases and players continue to show a great interest in them, so there’s been no real rush to create a new game. That’s not to say that a sequel will never happen, but EA itself indicated thatThe Sims 5is much farther away than people might think.

Part of the reason people are still returning toThe Sims 4may simply be that there’sno real competition in the life simulator genre. While games likeAnimal CrossingandStardew Valleyare addicting in their specific ways, there’s no other game that simply allows the massive amount of customization and choices thatThe Sims 4players have. Some players love to nurture their relationships, but others just use it to recreate famous architecture or live a life they never could have otherwise. Right now it might as well be the only game in town, and the non-stop DLC has certainly helped keep it that way.

The Sims 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
