After all, there are many similarities, but also many differences between the two.

10Mother’s Milk

Has His Face Exploded With A Grenade, Then Smothered To Death By Butcher

Upon discovering Billy Butcher’s ultimate plans beyond the point ofvengeance on Homelander, Mother’s Milk tries to use his naturally enhanced strength to stop Butcher from hurting more people who don’t deserve it. Sadly, Butcher had already accounted for M.M.’s soft side and decided to sacrifice his own hand to detonate a grenade in Mother’s Milk’s face. The grenade blew off M.M.’s face, leaving him murmuring helplessly as Butcher finishes him off by smothering him.

9Frenchie and Kimiko

Both Are Killed In An Explosion Caused By Butcher

Returning to their base of operations, Frenchie found the remains of Mother’s Milk. Knowing that there was probably no stopping Butcher, especially with the loss of his arm, Frenchie elected to be the guy in the chair, andremained with Kimikolate into a restless night. Together, they heard a strange noise and lifted a curtain to discover a bundle of explosives with a charge 2 seconds away from detonation. Frenchie and Kimiko embrace, and Frenchie confesses that from the moment he met Kimiko, he loved her. The explosion was so powerful that it took out the building, killing Frenchie and Kimiko instantly.

8Billy Butcher

Kills Homelander, The Boys, And Then Is Killed By Hughie

There’s no one more diabolical than Billy Butcher. After his beloved dog Terror was killed by Jack from Jupiter, Butcher went further down the warpath that he started all those years ago after the death of his beloved Becky. After Becky was avenged and Homelander was killed at the White House, Butcher was unable to move on without setting in motion his ultimate antagonist plan which involved himkilling the Boys and everyone with Compound Vwith an airborne virus. Hughie stopped Butcher and paralyzed him, only to be killed by Hughie soon after so he wouldn’t live his life in a cell without sensation in his body.

7Hughie Campbell

Kills Butcher And Marries Starlight

Hughie has never had it easy. Despite a good relationship with his father, Hughie’s girlfriend, Robin, was killed by A-Train after the superhero ran into her on accident, causing her to be a spluttering red mist on his clothes. Hughie then worked closely with Butcher to eradicate the supes that deserved it, but the two came to blows when Butcher revealed his plan to kill everyone with Compound V in their system, effectively causing genocide. Hughie kills Butcher in a blind rage by stabbing him in the chest, and a decade later, marries Starlight in his hometown in Scotland.

6Starlight

Survives And Marries Hughie

Starlight had been through a lot during her time as a superhero. Sexually assaulted by the Seven, and someone who Homelander wanted to brutally murder, Starlight managed to survive through it all, even if that was not always by Hughie’s side. By the end ofThe Boys, Starlight (Annie January) rekindled her love for Hughie and supported him after the death of his friends, and years later, she married him and moved to Scotland.

5A-Train

A-Train is the catalyst for Hughie’s violent streak and entry intoButcher’s band of misfitsand super-killers. A-Train murdered Hughie’s girlfriend by accidentally running into her, thus causing him to want total revenge. Butcher kidnaps A-Train and makes Hughie listen to a recording about the death of his girlfriend, Robin. Enraged, Hughie kicks A-Train in the head, and with Compound V in his veins, it causes his head to come clean off.

4The Deep

Refuses To Aid In Homelander’s Coup And Then Joins A New Superhero Team Called Truth

Deciding that he would have no part in Homelander’s evil regime over the United States,the Deep ran awayfrom the Seven and instead waited out the mayhem until there was a victor. The Deep returned to a standard superhero life under the payroll of a rebranded Vought to become one of the members of Truth, a superhero team that seemed completely lackluster and had their outfits fitted like the KKK.

3Queen Maeve

Killed By Homelander For Trying To Defend Starlight

After years of substance abuse and a thorough lack of caring about the state of the world and the superheroes in it, Queen Maeve found hope again with Starlight’s attempt to stop Homelander’s insurrection. Queen Maeve threw Starlight out of the Seven’s headquarters to give her a head start against Homelander, all whilst she attempted to do battle with him to keep him back. Sadly, Queen Maeve’s sword was but a prop and one punch from Homelander sent Queen Maeve’s scalp flying, most likely killing her instantly.

2Homelander

Killed By Black Noir After Invading The White House

Blackmail photos and memories as clear as day in evidence but not in his mind, Homelander was driven to the brink of insanity through frequent blackouts where he would indulge in foul and evil behavior like eating babies and mutilating bodies. This essentially gaslit Homelander into thinking he was a villain, and so he decided to take an army of supes to the White House and kill the President. Yet, Homelander was brutally killed in a fistfight with Black Noir, who had been sent as a contingencyto stop Homelanderif he ever went rogue from Vought.

1Black Noir

Revealed To Be A Homelander Clone, Killed By Butcher

Black Noir ended up being the main villain ofThe Boys, as the entire villainous routine of Homelander was perpetrated by Black Noir. Black Noir reveals himself as a clone of Homelander, created by Vought as a contingency plan for ifHomelander went rogue or evil. Black Noir was created for the sole purpose of killing Homelander, so he orchestrated it, putting a plan in motion to finally fulfill the sole purpose for which he was born. After a fight with the military and Homelander, Black Noir was weak enough for Butcher to pry his skull open with a crowbar and squish his brain.
