Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulseis coming back and it’s bringing a collectors edition with it. That particularStubbs the Zombiecollector’s editionis bringing quite a bit with it, but it’s also asking for a rather high price.
Developer Aspyr Media announced the game is “coming back from the dead” earlier this month andStubbs the Zombieis landing on a tonof different platforms. The game will release on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC and will of course be playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The last time the gaming public saw this game was almost 20 years ago. Originally, when it launched in 2005, it landed on the first Xbox and was a console exclusive with PC and Mac ports.

WhileAspyrmedia did announce the game was coming back, there weren’t a ton of other details provided. On Thursday, the developer’s official Twitter account unveiled the collector’s edition, as well as the rather high price. Those who are willing to fork over $149 can get their hands on a model Stubbs head as well as a plushie of one of his signature weapons in the Gut Grenade. The rest of the set includes several themed items such as a special Stubbs Zippo lighter, a Punch Bowl tourist brochure, several posters, and a physical copy of the game.
The collector’s edition of theStubbs the Zombie In Rebel Without a Pulseis available for preorder now on Xbox, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. It appears this edition of the game will be available on the day and date when the regular edition launches. As is the case with any version of a new game like this, there’s a limited number of copies available.
Stubbs is just the latest project of Aspyr, as it alsoworked onLayers of Fearas one of its latest games. There is a chance the remaster of the popular zombie game isn’t the only thing the development team is currently working on. Rumors are floating around that the company is working on bringing back one of the most beloved titles in gaming.
There are claims out there that Aspyr is working on bringing backStar Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. That particular title is even older than Stubbs, as it first released in July of 2003. Since then,KOTORwas ported over to the mobile platform and still seen a loyal fanbase on PC.
The remaster ofStubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without A Pulseshambles onto PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on March 16th.
