SteamWorld Buildis a city-planning game set in the SteamWorld universe. Gamers have to gather resources to expand and improve their city. Right at the start, players will have plenty of space, so they might not be too worried about perfectly placing their buildings, homes, and decorations.

As players develop their city further, they will unlock more buildable items and will eventually need more space. It is perfectly common for gamers to change their minds and want to modify the placement of their builds and even some perks that they’ve given them. Players can edit buildings to change their applied mods or they can change where they’re positioned on the city map, and this guide will show fans how to do both.

How to Move Buildings

Once a building has been placed inSteamWorld Build, it can be moved at any point; gamers don’t have to commit to its placement, nor do they have to completely bulldoze it if they change their minds in the future. Thankfully, it’s a very simple process. To change a building’s location inSteamWorld Build, gamers must enter Build Mode and select the Move Tool.

Unlike buildings, quarters cannot be moved. Quarters aren’t considered buildings inSteamWorld Build, as they are placed tile by tile.
