Summary

Exploring the massive galaxy ofStarfieldand visiting the many planets it offers is a big part of the game, and one keen explorer shared a beautiful discovery with the community featuring a lush planet complete with massive lakes and other water features. While players are able to set foot on most of the 1,000+ planets that can be traveled to inStarfield, only a small percentage of them harbor life and habitable environments, making those rare few planets highly sought after.

Each and every planet inStarfieldis unique and complete with its own set of resources, traits, gravity, and more. Relatively few worlds in the galaxy contain life, but those that do have the potential to feature all manners of alien flora and fauna which can provide steady access to organic materials, which are essential in certain crafting and research tasks. Planets with life also tend to feature unique biomes such as forests and rich grassy plains which provide some of the most beautiful locations to set up planetary outposts, especially when they’re near large bodies of water such as lakes or the sea.

Players can come across many different biomes whenexploring the surfaces of planets inStarfield, and these worlds are fully capable of generating water features such as oceans, rivers, and lakes as well. One fan of the game known as LuckyElroy came across the perfect planet while exploring the galaxy, sharing their discovery of the moon IXYLL III-B with the game’s community. After landing in a wetlands biome on the moon and fully surveying it, they continued their excursion into a swamp biome and discovered various ponds and bodies of water which were safe to swim in. Then, while exploring a deciduous forest biome, the player came across an incredible lake which was home to various species of alien fish, complete with a big island in the center.

Players who are of the explorative type tend to be the ones who venture into the game’s expansive galaxy and discover such locations, but the ability to identify and share these worlds with other players allows fans who prefer constructing elaborate outposts to find the perfect locations to build their bases. Players have shown offseveral incredible base locations inStarfield, including one planet that is commonly known as the planet Reach fromHalo.

Incredibly, somefans ofStarfieldhave already managed to fully surveyeach and every planet out there in the game. But with every planet featuring multiple biomes and of relatively lifelike scale, it’s certain that there exist countless beautiful areas and secret locations that haven’t yet been come across by players.
