Since the game’s release, fans of ConcernedApe’s farming simulatorStardew Valleyhave been using its surprisingly in-depth character customization system to recreate themselves, their family members, and their favorite TV, film, and video game characters.Stardew Valleyallows players to completely design their farmer from the ground up, as well as change their farmer’s appearance by paying a small fee to the game’s mysterious Wizard. One fan decided to useStardew Valleyto share their love for a classic TV show.
Despite its simple, pixelated art style,Stardew Valleyoffers players a lot of options when designing their character. They can choose between multiple skin tones, dozens of hairstyles, and clothing ranging from formal suits to casual country chic. Players are also able to earn a variety of different hats via completing in-game tasks. Many of these hats are then made available for purchase by theHat Mouse, a vendor who runs a shop hidden deep in Cindersap Forest.

OneStardew Valleyfan, who goes by u/Doktor_ZS, used the game’s character creator to recreate Walter White, aka Heisenberg, dangerous drug producer and main character of popular drama seriesBreaking Bad.Their version of Heisenberg wears a green shirt and jeans while sporting the character’s iconic completely bald head and dark sunglasses. Although Heisenberg is sometimes portrayed wearing a black hat, u/Doktor_ZS left out that detail, possibly because they were unable to find an in-game hat that matched. Farmer Heisenberg was also portrayed standing in a fieldconsisting entirely of blueberries, presumably to represent the blue-dyed drugs the character cooks and sells in the TV show.
The Reddit user was inspired by the YouTube channel RTGame, which recently released a series of videos starring a Heisenberg look-alike farmer. RTGame showed off the farmer’s entire first year in the Valley, primarily growing and processing blueberries and other blue foods to continue the ongoing drug references. Many commenters on Reddit also referenced RTGame’s playthrough, including connecting theStardew ValleycharacterSebastian, a lonely computer genius who spends most of his time in his bedroom, with Heisenberg’s sidekick Jesse Pinkman.
Doktor_ZS did not share just how profitable his attempt at recreating RTGame’s all-blue farm was; however, it is likely that he managed to make quite a lot of money in a short period of time. Blueberries are consistently listed as one of the game’smost profitable crops, as they can grow for an entire season and potentially produce multiple berries at a single harvest. However, theBreaking Badfan would likely have been able to make even more money with a slightly different blue crop: Ancient Fruit, which takes an entire in-game season to grow but can sell for up to one thousand gold per fruit. Still, the actual Heisenberg would likely be impressed by this player’s hard work and business savvy.
Stardew Valleyis currently available for Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One.
