After being reduced to dust and then coming back to help fight Thanos and his army, it looks like things couldn’t get any crazier for Tom Holland’sSpider-Man. Well, Watts thinks otherwise, comparing the scale ofSpider-Man: No Way Hometo that of the previousAvengersfilm.

Speaking with Empire in the upcoming new issue, Watts claimed that the film will be HUGE, telling them, “We’re definitely trying to be ambitious.” When asked how ambitious, Watts responded, “It’s ‘Spider-Man: Endgame.“Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will feature the multiverse and see the return of many beloved characters from previous Spider-Man adaptations like Sam Raimi’sSpider-Mantrilogy, is set toconclude Holland’sHomecomingtrilogy, that is according to Holland himself. The web-slinging star recently opened up about howNo Way Homefeels like a definite conclusion to what has already been a critically acclaimed trilogy. With phase 4, as mentioned, heading in more cosmic, multiversal directions, who knows what the MCU will consist of after a few more films.
“When I was first pitched the idea, I was like, ‘Wow, that would be awesome if we could pull it off’,” Holland recalled, regarding the prospect of bringing in famous former foes. “‘But there’s just no way it’s going to work. You’re just not going to be able to get everyone to do what they need to do. It’s just not going to happen.’ But it did happen.
