In a recent post on Reddit, user Cain013 asked otherSkyrimplayers which of the Divines is their favorite. A hearty discussion has taken place and it seems evident that different people like different ones. One commenter said they prefer Stendarr, the God of Compassion, Mercy, and Justice, because they like the “f**k you energy.” A couple of others said they like Dibella, the Goddess of Beauty and Love, while user defa90 gave a lengthy description of why they are faithful to Talos, the Hero-god of Mankind. However, some have noted that Cain013 missed one of the Divines in their uploaded image. Due to an apparent oversight, Talos is not present.
There are a total ofnine Divines in theElder Scrollsfranchise, with Talos being one of the most popular. They can bestow blessings upon the protagonist depending on which altar or shrine the player worships at. Chief among the Divines is Akatosh, the Dragon God of Time, who many will remember as a name that crops up frequently inThe Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
In any case, players will have their own opinion about which Divine they prefer over others, but in general, it’s good to see people still talking aboutTES5. Whether people are discussingwhichSkyrimcity is the worstor the best or the overall game’s economy and how it stays afloat, it’s proof that there is still a dedicated community of fans who are happy to keep this 11-year-old RPG alive and well, at least until the next game comes out.
