Few games have had the effect thatGoat Simulatorhad when it came out, and the reasoning behind it is easy: it is a game, where the player pretends to be a goat. It doesn’t need much more than that to create a lasting impression.
The reviews all agree on one thing:Goat Simulator 3is a marvel of ingenuity, silly but oh-so-clever humor, and situations that will make every player roll on the floor laughing. Even though playing alone is fun, playing this game with a group of friendscan make any game night a party.
Oh, and every time someone wonders where Goat Simulator 2 is, one of the developers chuckles, because…there is none.
7Backyard Science
To succeed in this wild quest, the goal seems quite simple: the player has to completely cover themselves in oil. Of course, that’s not as easy as it seems, because the player comes to the quest not knowing exactly what they have to do. The quest objective says: “grease up the machine.” Go figure. Technically, what the player needs to do is find the two barrels that have oil inside (these are in the caravan park). The next step is the weirdest.
The goat has to be completely covered in oil (instead of being completely naked, which another quest requires). Next, go to the machine and check when the oil indicator turns green from one side. Then, go do it on the other side of the machine as well. Some players like to just roll the barrels toward the machine, but that’s not exactly possible to do without spilling the oil all over (and on the goat as well).
But things are, again, not that simple. The oil is slippery, so getting to the machine is not an easy task. If the goat enters the machine on one side, it turns itself small, and on the other side, it turns itself bigger. And that is the quest. Just as weird as this whole game is!
6Dilbo’s Journey
This secret event takes the player on…an adventure! And yes, this is aLord Of The Ringsreference, but this time the player has to deal with Dilbo and not Bilbo. The quest requires the player to take the Ring (yes, THAT ring) to Mount Inferno.

Like almost everything inGoat Simulator 3, this doesn’t come easy, as there is no map to show where this mountain is. After finding it (south of Mornwood Falls), the goat will be surrounded by lava, and they have to jump from rock to rock to get to the entrance. Once there, they will be transported to a weird white space filled with light. The player has to run towards the light, and when they reach it, they will be transported back to solid ground and the quest will be completed.
5Pay Respect
For this one, the player has to head to the Brumehill Cemetery and head north. When things start to turn gray (not metaphorically but quite literally), the goat should locate the three graves that have large crosses on them.
With a nod toCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the quest asks the player to “Press R To Pay Respects.” And this is not the onlyreference to other franchises. This is the original start of this quest. Once the goat has visited all three graves and paid respects, the ghosts of the people will leave the graves. Along with that, a door to the church will open, which leads to the next quest:
4Fit For The Cross
If the players haven’t thought until that moment that Goat Simulator 3 is… “out there,” they will think it once they encounter this diamond of a quest. Continuing from the previous quest “Pay Respect,” the goat has to enter the church door and find themselves in a weird disco setting. There are four treadmills there, that the player has to fill in order to complete the quest. How?

In classicGoat Simulatorstyle, the player has to click and drag four unsuspecting people to each of the treadmills and make them run.
3Swedes Assemble
All the gamers who ever swore under their breath while holding a piece of IKEA furniture that didn’t seem to fit anywhere will completely sympathize with the adorable goat in this quest. While the gamereferences many things that a lot of people can recognize, this is one of the most recognizable ones.
Here, IKEA turns to SWEKIA, and there is a blue mat on top of which the player has to build the furniture. The furniture pieces can be found all around the house (inside, outside, and on the street), inside some blue boxes that they have to headbutt to open, and then lick and drag the pieces to the blue mat.
Once the weird-looking structure is assembled, a portal will open. A couple of Swedes will drop out of it, making the gamers laugh once more at the clever humor of this amazing game.
2Practicing Shrink
The smallest, most bizarre, and completely irrational quest in the game has to be the Practicing Shrink one. It starts off when the goat gets inside the shrink’s house and sits on the couch.

When the goat bleats, the house, the shrink, and everything else, apart from the goat, start to shrink. When everything has shrunk, the quest ends, and on the screen appears the phrase “You’ve made some real progress today.”
1Free Money
For the player who doesn’t mind a bit of grinding, this quest will be a joy. Or at least somewhat okay. For all the others, there will be enough free time to think about how wild this game is. In any case, things are pretty simple, in thisamazing Easter Egg quest.
The player has to find an ATM downtown and headbutt it. Headbutt it five hundred times. Along with the money, the player gets the advice to “Now invest in crypto,” as well as the dunce hat. Let’s just sayit’s a quest that even the beginners of the beginnerscan manage to complete.
