Atlus Might Have Many New Games and Re-Releases to Keep Fans Busy Until The Release of Persona 6
In a recent set of posts on Twitter, Midori hinted at the existence of an upcomingPersonaspin-off that features characters from the entirePersonaseries. The notable Sega insider first teased this potential title in a poll she posted on April 29.
This is especially noteworthy, considering the fact that Midori previously held a similar poll in January asking Twitter users if they would purchase a remake ofPersona3FES’sThe Answerin DLC format. Of course, Atlus officially announced exactly that with theEpisodeAigisexpansion weeks later. Midori then claimed in a subsequent tweet that future spin-offs in the franchise would contain “allPersonaseries characters,” but primarily those fromPersona 3,4, and5. It’s unknown if thisrumoredPersonaspin-offis more like theMario Party-style mobile game that was allegedly in development at one point or thePersona Qgames on the Nintendo 3DS.
In addition, Midori also held a poll that might be teasing a potential PC port ofCatherine: Full Body, the 2019 re-release of Atlus’s cult classic Xbox 360/PS3 puzzle game. Persona
Persona is an RPG franchise developed and published by Atlus, spun off from its larger Megami Tensei franchise. Originally releasing in 1996 under the name Revelations: Persona, the series typically follows a core group of High School students who have access to Personas, physical manifestations of a person’s psyche and subconscious, to do battle in combat. Newer games in the franchise, starting with Persona 3, have introduced the idea of Social Links, which lets players further strengthen and evolve Personas based on time spent with their owners outside of dungeons.
