Not only is April the month when Spring starts, but it’s also the time when publishers typically offer huge discounts on select video games. Sony has started its sale quite recently, with a brevity ofdeals on various PlayStation titles. This includes promotions for a variety of AAA first party and third party games, such asGhost of Tsushima,Grand Theft Auto 5, andSekiro: Shadows Die Twice, just to name a few. Nintendo has also started its spring sale, with limited time deals for games published bySega.

ThisSegaSpring Sale will give gamers the chance to save on plenty of games from the publisher, which also encompass retro titles and AAA hits that have been put out. This sale will be running for a very limited time, as this will end on April 17 at 11:59 pm PT, so players should look into getting one of these games if it’s something they’ve been eyeing up. The deals themselves are also quite good, as they range from 30% to even 75% off certain titles on the Eshop.

One of these is theUltimate Sonic Bundlefor 50% off, which includes threeSonicgames -Team Sonic Racing,Sonic Forces, andSonic Mania- for only $30, a major steal for these three Switch games. Three other releases from Sega that are also discounted includeSonic Colors: Ultimate, which is currently selling at 30% off,Super Monkey Ball Banana Maniabeing 40% off, and evenPersona 5 Strikersbeing half of its original price. A number of SEGA AGES classic games such asPhantasy Star,Shinobi,Gain Ground, andOut Runget similar price cuts.

Interestingly enough, this sale also has a number of deals on the 3DS side of the Eshop, which cover titles developed by Sega and Atlus specifically. ManyShin Megami Tenseigamesare all currently 60% off, including a number of rarer games that were published early in the 3DS' lifespan or were limited releases. This includesShin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, bothShin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivorgames, and even the delightfully overlookedStella’s Glow. BothPersona Qgames are also on sale, though they can only be found when shopping through the 3DS Eshop and not Nintendo’s website.

While the Switch discounts are certainly enticing, the 3DS sales are probably the more interesting part of the sale. Considering that the3DS and Wii U Eshops are going to be shut down next year, these exclusiveShin Megami Tenseiand other Atluspublished titles are going to become harder to play without physical copies or digital downloads. As such, fans should consider getting a discounted digital copy from thisSegaSpring Sale before it’s too late.
