Sean Murray discussed how the team at Hello Games would not over-promise again, “I mean, look, we have learned our lesson. We don’t want to start talking about anything too early.” Many fans of the studio and its work will be pleased by this news as expectations did seem to stopNo Man’s Skyfrom reaching its full potential. However, the director did go on to detail some exciting elements of the new project. The director did say that the new project will not be like the most recent collaborative release from the studio,Last Campfire, instead he explained “I would hope that there’s a line betweenJoe DangertoNo Man’s Sky.” With that said, the project should be on a large scale like the space-based game.

The director concluded that “As a studio, we definitely are very focused on doing new, big, ambitious things.” This is evident in thelatest update forNo Man’s Skywhich adds giant worms as well as volcanoes. The developer appears to be working towards better products and with that in mind, it will be interesting to see what game is produced in the future.

Many will appreciate the more reserved approach that the developer is taking and it may lead to more satisfied customers in the long run. After all, previous claimsdamagedNo Man’s Skyand it seems that players would like a more realistic dialogue when the next game is revealed.
