In its first major update of 2024, Teyon pulled back the curtain on a new update forRoboCop: Rogue Citythat went live on all available platforms. This new update added the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode, with a new cosmetic reward for players who unlock it, and a bonus difficulty to giveRoboCop: Rogue Cityplayers an extra challenge.

Following its November release,RoboCop: Rogue Cityasserted itself amongthe best games to feature the titular crime-fighting cyborgas he cleans up the streets of a futuristic Detroit. Like the films on which the game’s setting is based, RoboCop is constantly hounded by memories of his past as the fallen Detroit police officer Alex J. Murphy and a damaged public image that his corporate owners at Omni Consumer Products (OCP) openly exploit. But through it all, RoboCop remains steadfast in his ongoing mission to protect the innocent citizens of a lawless, dystopian city.

Thanks tothis new update, the fight continues for RoboCop. Available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, the update toRoboCop: Rogue Cityofficially brings New Game Plus mode, which was ahighly requested feature that the developers at Teyon acknowledgedon social media in early January. Players with existing save files can finish the game once more to unlock New Game Plus, including loading a save file just before beating the game’s final challenges. All skills and upgrades from a previous save file will carry over into New Game Plus. Some new Auto-9 chips and boards were added to the game as part of the patch, so players will be able tocustomize RoboCop’s trusty weaponto their liking. The new update also gave players a Golden Auto-9 weapon skin for unlocking New Game Plus inRoboCop: Rogue City.

Finally, the update forRoboCop: Rogue Citybrought a new difficulty mode called “There Will Be Trouble” to the game. The name of the mode is a reference to one of RoboCop’s famous quips from the films.
