Each combat style inRise of the Roninis linked to the weapons in the game. With nine different weapons, players have the freedom of choice. When you pick a Blade Sharpening Origin, the gamewill recommend weapons thatare best suited for it. For instance, if you go with Killer, then it is better to pick Katana, Greatsword, and Odachi.

This can be done by gifting him different items and completing missions with him. Players can also improve their bond with Gonzo by having conversations with him. During conversations, players will have to pick a certain dialogue that they think will improve their bond with Gonzo.

Somecombat styles can be unlockedin more than one way. If players want tounlock Oxtail Blade’s Kihetai Style, they can do so by either improving their bond with Shinsaku Takasugi or by defeating Green-Eye Sanzaemon, who can be found in Hodogaya. It doesn’t matter which path players pick as both will unlock this particular combat style.
