When Capcom started marketingResident Evil Village, it did so with a big focus on the villainous Lady Dimitrescu. The extremely tall vampire woman instantly became a hit withResident Evilfans, inspiring countless cosplays and fan art based on the character. Fans are still paying homage to Lady Dimitrescu months afterResident Evil Village’s release, with the latest example being an incredibly detailed statue created by artist Lotoso.
Lotoso’sResident Evil VillageLady Dimitrescu statue depicts the fan favorite villain chilling in a bathtub, but with a gruesome twist. Instead of water, it appears as thoughLady Dimitrescuis bathing in blood (described as a “Wine Bath” in Lotoso’s YouTube video explaining how the statue was made). While this is a fitting detail for someone that’s basically a vampire, it’s worth pointing out that this actually seems to be a nod to a specific part of the game.
