Sure. Let’s Go.
If a player agrees to be eaten by Tal Ratha, they will battle theTal Ratha (Metaphysical) boss inRemnant 2. Upon defeating this foe, fans will receive theAcidic Jawbone, a crafting material that McCabe in Ward 13 can use to create theGas Giantmelee weapon.
Uh, No. Thank You.
If a player refuses to be eaten by Tal Ratha, they will fightTal’Ratha, and this battle is easier than the one with the boss’s metaphysical variant. At the end of this fight, fans will receive theSpiced Bilecrafting material, which McCabe can turn into theNebulahandgun.
With respect to which option a player should choose, theGas Giantis likely the better item overall. That said, having the ability to keep enemiescorroded inRemnant 2is not without use, and fans that do not frequently engage in melee combat may want to give Nebula a try. Players can also simply play through this N’Erud scenario a second time if they ultimately want to have access to both weapons.
To note, players will receive theShining Essence Echoafter beating either variant of Tal Ratha, and there is yet another choice associated with that item. More specifically, the Shining Essence Echo can be given to theCustodianon N’Erud in order to obtain theSiphon Heart relic(on use, grants 10% of base damage dealt as Lifesteal for 10s.). Alternatively, fans can give the item to theDrzyr Replicator, which is accessed by dropping into a hole behind a statue near the Custodian, in order to obtain theVoid Idol, an amulet that increases Reload Speed by 20% and effectively halves the amount of ammunition that is required to reload aweapon inRemnant 2.
Remnant 2is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
