Raven Software has now implemented yet another change toCall of Duty: Warzonewithout explicitly mentioning it in the game’s patch notes. The change affects how UAVs work inCall of Duty: Warzoneand may cause some fans to have to change up their play styles if they want to stay competitive.

In terms of secret updates, Raven Software also recently added a differentchange toCall of Duty: Warzoneregarding armor plates that players were not informed of. The update secretly nerfed the way that armor plates work in the game, as players were previously able to loot around 16 armor plates from players if they had 8 armor plates and a satchel when they died. Now all players are only able to loot 8 armor plates from a dead player’s satchel regardless of whether they have a satchel themselves. Players are unsure as to why Raven Software did not announce this change, as the company had also recently used polls in order to gauge how fans felt about certain changes.

The latest unannounced change thatCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers have noticed now regards how UAVs work. Before the change, players that had the ghost perk equipped were unable to be detected by UAVs, now it seems as though these players need to keep moving to remain undetected.

Fan reception to this change will likely be mixed, as those who do not use the ghost perk will no longer have to deal with players camping, however, those who do use the ghost perk will have to change up their play styles.

One change to the game that many fans would like to see stick around is theCaldera Clash game mode inCall of Duty: Warzone. Players seem to be hugely enjoying the mode, as it is a chaos-filled 50v50 match where the action does not seem to stop.

While fans seemingly want the game to get some new maps alongside Caldera and Rebirth Island, this now no longer seems likely. A Raven Software representative stated thatCall of Duty: Warzonewill not receive new maps soon due to the game’s massive file size. The representative stated that new maps mean that the game will take up even more storage, which causes some players to uninstall the game.

In another positive change for the game, the latestCall of Duty: Warzoneban wave removed over 90,000 cheatersfrom the game. This is a good sign considering how rampant cheating has become in the game.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
