Shipping the game only last month, IllFonic’sPredator: Hunting Groundshas gotten off to a fairly rocky start since its late April debut, with the title garnering some mixed reviews alongsidelong queue times to jump into a match. However, it seems fans are willing and excited to wait for the game to update in the coming months, with the feeling of either stepping into the iconic boots of the titular Predator or having to fend him off with a squad of fellow soldiers clearly brimming with promise.

It seems the game’s not wasting any time when it comes to delivering on its promise of frequent content updates either, with Jared Gerritzen, the Chief Creative Officer of IllFonic, taking to the PlayStation blog to announce a major DLC that’s coming toHunting Groundsvery soon.To the delight of fans, it seems the game will adding one of its most highly-requested additions, with the team confirming thatArnold Schwarzenegger’sDutch from the firstPredatormovie will be making his way to the game on May 26.

Better yet, this will be more than a mere skin, with the developers of the game confirming that they met with the popular action star and recorded dialogue for the upcoming slate of additional content. According to Gerritzen, his addition will look to expand the character’s story, with the industry figure claiming,“in order to makePredator: Hunting Groundsthe game we envisioned it to be, it had to include Dutch’s story and bringing him back into the universe.” He goes on to state that Dutch’s integration into the game will unravel in two separate ways, with the first being a free update available for all players. It will add voice diaries to the title from the perspective of an older version of the character, with Gerritzen promising players will “learnwhere Dutch has been all these yearsand hear his story in his own words.”

The second is a paid DLC, which will allow purchasers to “play as Dutch and get early access to the QR5 “Hammerhead” Rifle and Dutch’s Knife.” It seems theDLCwill look to expand the lore of the universe, fleshing out Dutch’s story following his action-packed encounter with the titular alien hunter as well as better fleshing out why he’s returned for a second round with the terrifying extraterrestrial species.

According to Gerritzen, this is far from the last DLC coming toPredator:Hunting Groundsin the near future. Supposedly, players should look forward to both free and paid additional content launching every month until August and beyond, with the slate kicking off with Dutch’s debut at the tail-end of May.
