They managed to deliver an open-world experience on the Nintendo Switch that fans have been yearning for, albeit with its fair share of bugs and performance issues.Paradox Pokemon, which happen to be pocket monsters transported in time to the Paldea region from both the past and future were also introduced in the ninth generation of games.

With just a handful of new Paradox Pokemon for fans to capture, it’s time to start looking toward the future in terms of what otherexistingPokemonshould receive a Future Paradox Formin eitherPokemon Scarlet & VioletDLC expansions or a future entry in the series.
8Iron Glider (Corviknight)
Pokemon that incorporate themselves into the everyday lives of humansin the world ofPokemonmake their existence invaluable. Corviknight serves as the primary form of transportation in the Galar region as it hoists taxis that carry customers where they need to go. It’s unclear how a giant bird comprised of steel can glide in the air, but it isn’t the first time a Pokemon has defied physics.
Iron Glider is a fitting name for its Future Paradox form, and it could see an extension of its already massive wingspan. Another neat idea would be to have Corviknight’s Future Paradox form resemble something closer to an airplane or jet where either its wings become more sturdy or it evolves in a way that adds the use of jet engines to its body for fast movement.
7Iron Jaw (Drednaw)
As with Corviknight, just because a Pokemon is relatively new doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve a chance at a Future Paradox form. Drednaw is a Water and Rock dual-type labeled as the Bite Pokemon, which indicates its jaw is where its true strength lies.
Rock and sediment are known to erode over time, so maybe its jaw, shell, and headpiece could be replaced by metal through evolution and give way to Iron Jaw. It could also have a futuristic move that’s similar to Bite or Crunch but is stronger and has a higher chance of critically striking its opponent thanks to Drednaw’s new jaw being made of unbreakable metal of some sort.
6Iron Punt/Iron Strike (Hitmonlee/Hitmontop)
Anyonefamiliar with Kantowould agree that Hitmonlee and Hitmontop feel like a packaged deal. That means that if one were to receive a special form or evolution, it’s only fitting that the other is involved somehow. The pair getting Future Paradox forms would possibly result in the two classic fighters morphing into metallic cyborgs who would have clear strengths in their respective martial arts styles.

Hitmonlee’s legs would function like pistons and the creature now known as Iron Punt could outkick any living thing. Hitmontop might resemble Jax from Mortal Kombat in some aspects as its arms would be the main attraction as time gave way to its new form, Iron Strike.
5Iron Mystery (Orbeetle)
Considering Orbeetle’s Gigantamax form morphs the Bug and Psychic dual-type into an unidentified flying object, the idea of its Future Paradox form embracing the unknown is quite valid. Humans are fascinated with the unknown and few things are as mysterious as aliens and space travel.
Having Orbeetle’s base form resemble something closer to a martian or robotic insectoid race could lean into the idea of its Future Paradox form being labeled Iron Mystery. Orbeetle’s Pokedex talks about it having a high level of intelligence and that its brain size grew over time. This means that a version of it in the far future could have an even larger brain and as a result reach genius levels of intellect.
4Iron Knight (Sirfetch’d)
For yearsPokemonfansbegged for Kanto nativeFarfetch’d to receive an evolution of some sort and those demands were finally met inPokemon Sword & Shield. The Galar region was home to a regional variant of Farfetch’d, but more importantly introduced Sirfetch’d, the final evolutionary form of the leek-wielding bird.
Iron Knight, a fitting name for the Future Paradox version of Sirfetch’d, could be a take on knights from a dystopian future. Also, since Sirfetch’d wield a giant sword, it’s a great opportunity to have it wield a lightsaber. For legal reasons, it’d be referred to as a laser sword in any Pokedex entry, of course.
3Iron Abode (Torterra)
Future Paradox designs of existing Pokemon are rather new, but one thing has become abundantly clear. When an aspect of a Pokemon’s design is reworked in a way to fit the theme of a “far-flung future”, that’s when the new creatures are welcomed in with open arms. The fourthgeneration ofPokemongamesintroduced the stoic Grass-type starter known as Turtwig whose final form is a giant turtle with a biome on its back, and it is referred to as Torterra.

Over time, it’s a safe assumption that, just like with nature, its flourishing forest biome would convert into a cityscape. Now known as Iron Abode, it would have a shell that resembles a futuristic city as it morphed in a way to display what it was mostly surrounded by.
2Iron Snake (Steelix)
Pokemon Scarlet & Violetmade it clear that the naming convention for Future Paradox forms is to pair the word ‘Iron’ with something associated with said Pokemon’s lineage. The beauty of Steelix receiving one of these forms from the future is that it is already known as the Iron Snake Pokemon, so its Paradox form can simply be referred to as Iron Snake.
Since its body is comprised of sections, designers could deliver something interesting with its futuristic design where maybe the segments aren’t physically attached but hover in place via magnetism or cybernetic brackets of some sort. The defensive stalwart is a prime candidate when it comes to seeing what Pokemon can become if given enough runway to evolve far into the future.
1Iron Grip (Scizor)
It’s safe to say that Scizor is already one of the more futuristic-lookingPokemondesigns on the roster. The idea of it receiving a Future Paradox form makes sense as it will only elevate what’s already there. As a Bug and Steel dual-type that feels reminiscent ofproperties likePower RangersorGundam, that feels like the avenue its brand-new design should run with.
Turning Scizor into a Gundam and getting creative with both its color scheme and armor plating could turn a fan favorite into arguably the most desired Pokemon to ever exist. Add in that it holds its own in battle, and it’s hard to find a Pokemon with a better mix of aesthetics and usefulness than the Pincer Pokemon.
