Poochyena Location

Pokemon is no stranger todog and wolf-like Pokemon. Poochyena, known as the bite Pokemon, is a Generation Three Dark-type. As its name implies, it shares a strong resemblance to hyenas. Poochyena is very common in Kitakami, and players will likely see one near the bus stop and the grasslands near Mossui Town.

Poochyena appears during the day and at night, so players will have plenty of opportunity to catch one. They are confrontational in the wild and prone to attack whenever players enter their line of sight. Using a Quick Ball at the beginning of a battle ora Dusk Ball in the eveningsis an excellent way to catch one without battling it too long.

How to Evolve Poochyena into Mightyena

Poochyena’s evolved form, Mightyena, is alsofound in Kitakami’s wild. It is found in the same areas but at a lower spawn rate. Players will likely spend a good amount of time searching for one in the wild.

The quickest way to get Mightyena is to evolve Poochyena. Poochyena evolves into Mightyena, starting at level 18.Due to EXP Sharing, it won’t take long for players to evolve the canine Pokemon. They can also use consumable items like Rare Candy and Exp. Candy which are collected in the Overworld.

Sp. Def: 60

Speed: 70

While balanced, Mightyena’s stats are relatively lowfor a final evolution. If players hope to use it in battle, they can get some offensive power from it with its Attack stat and Dark-type moves. Since it is the “bite” Pokemon, it includes the moves Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Crunch, and Bite. There’s a chance for all these moves to cause their target to flinch or undergo a status condition.
