Fans ofPokemon Masters EXhave an extra Christmas present to unwrap the day after festivities concluded, as the game’s most-recent update includes new trainer customization options. Now,Pokemon Masters EXplayers have the ability to change their hair color, cap color and even style of cap.Previously, players were limited to a handful of skin tone and hair colors and styles, but the latest update expands upon that and now includes the customization of headwear.Pokemon Masters EXcontinues to strike all the right chords with their player base followingthe successful launch of thePokemon Masters EXTraining Loge, which allows players to boost character relationships with in-game personalities.RELATED:Ash Ketchum is Finally Coming Back to Pokemon GamesThe new trainer customization feature grants players the options to change their hairstyle with eight options, including Very Short, Bowl Cut, Sporty and Undercut, as well as deciding between having bangs or going without them. Trainers can tag on thenewPokemon Masters EXVictory Road challengesin style by switching out their hair color for a new shade of brown or blonde, or opt to go more extravagant with blue, red or peach. Players can also change their default cap for a sun visor, allowing for their hair to be more prominent.
The back-half of the mobile gamehas been an exciting time for players, fromRed becoming more featured inPokemon Masters EXeventsto Ash Ketchum joining the party. The announcement also includes the return of the “Hearts United” Story Event, which welcomes back the training sync pair of Lillie and Lunala, the Psychic/Ghost Legendary Pokemon introduced inPokemon Sun and Moon. While this sync pair isn’t the absolute destructive force in terms of physical power, Lunala does serve a niche as a Ghost-type striker and should be worth considering during their re-run.
Developer DeNA has put in the work to fine tune some of the smaller details as well, including events featuring a backstory to Lillie and her iconic partner Cosmog, as well as bringing out all the stops with their Christmas event which shelled out thousands of free gems. Earlier in 2022,Pokemon Masters EXintroduced the Sightseer feature, putting more of a focus on discovering the various characters within the world. With a fresh new cut and change in cap style, players can now explore the expanded world and take full advantage of all the in-game events while they last.
