Build-a-Bear andPokemonhave partnered together to bring every Eeveelution to the plush toy line, and now Sylveon is finally joining the group. As the lastEeveelution to be turned into a Build-a-Bear, fans can now finish their collection of the unique evolutionary Pokemon.
Build-a-Bear andPokemonhave a long history together at this point, with many of the franchise’s popular pocket monsters being converted into Build-a-Bears, from Pikachu to Psyduck. As with most Build-a-Bears, fans have the choice of buying the basic plush or upgrading to gain a few bonuses with their purchase.

The 12-inch Sylveon is available now as a Build-a-Bear and can be purchased through the company’s official website. The Sylveon plush is a charming recreation of the Fairy-typePokemon, and fans have the option of picking it up on its own or adding accessories and perks to the plush. The complete Sylveon Build-a-Bear package costs $72 USD and comes with the basic plush, a 5-in-1 sound chip, a cape, and a sleeper. The bundle is only sold online, and as Build-a-Bear collections often sell out, fans may not want to hesitate before picking up this Eeveelution.
For anyone who is interested in the plush but may not want all of the parts, there are also options available. The Sylveon plush can be purchased by itself, with the 5-in-1 audio chip, for $46 USD. The cape and sleeper can also be purchased on their own for $12.50 and $13.50, respectively.
Nintendo has partnered with Build-a-Bear repeatedly, even outside of thePokemonfranchise. The outrageously popularAnimal Crossing: New Horizonssaw multipleBuild-a-Bears based off of iconic characters like Isabelle and Tom Nook. Other game franchises from outside Nintendo have also gotten in on the action, withSonic the Hedgehogand Build-a-Bear partnering up around the time of the release of the secondSonicmovie.
Pokemonhasn’t seen any new Eeveelutionsin many years, even with the recent release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet. As such, Build-a-Bear will turn its focus to other Pokemon for any future releases. The starters fromPokemon Scarlet and Violetseem like likely candidates, though the line of plush toys has released creatures from across the franchise’s history, so there’s no guarantee that the next designs will be new Pokemon.
Although the Christmas season is now behindPokemonfans, there’s always something new coming out related to the games and anime for players to collect.
