The Mandalorianseason 3 critics have given different reasons for disliking the show’s latest season. Some fans have gotten tired of the adventure of the week format, while others thought this season had too many separate plot lines that took away from the season’s direction. One of the main criticisms was that fans felt like the show did not focus enough on Din Djarin, who has been the main focus of the series for the past two seasons and half of the first season forThe Book of Boba Fett.

Pascal toldVarietyhow he feels aboutThe Mandalorianseason 3 shifting focus off his character and towards Bo-Katan Kryze. “I think [the heavy focus on Bo-Katan] was great in that it also brings into full realization a beloved character that is from the world of Dave Filoni,” he said. Bo-Katan first appeared in Filoni’sStar Wars: The Clone Warsseason 4, episode 14, voiced by Sackhoff. Sackhoff reprised her role inThe Mandalorian in seasons 2 and 3.
Pascal also revealed he was a big fan ofFiloni’s extendedStar Warsuniverse. “I just think it was perfect that we get to meet and see the character, and she gets to do cool shit in the second season,” he said. “And then, she gets to take center stage in the third. It’s what I would want for the character and as a fan of The Clone Wars.” Pascal also said that he was happy to haveThe Mandalorianintroduce a new set ofStar Warsfans to the character of Bo-Katan.
Pascal doesn’t seem to be bothered by letting Sackhoff take the Darksaber and the spotlight in the latest season. Pascal was seemingly a fan of theClone Warsseries and loved what they did with the character. The finale for season 3 did not set up much for the next season ortheStar Warsmovie they are working on. Some fans believe that whatever is next forThe Mandalorianmay be even more focused on Bo-Katan.
