Summary
SomePalworldplayers have expressed frustration with the rate at which armor breaks in the open world survival game.Palworldis filled with dangerousPokemon-like creatures called Pals that pose a serious threat to the player. They unleash all kinds of devastating attacks that can knock players out, forcing them to respawn and potentially causing them to lose their items.
Dying inPalworldcan be devastating, and so it’s always best that players set out with the right equipment.Palworldplayers can craft bows, guns, spears, and other weapons to help fight back against any hostile Pals they come across in the game world, and they can also create a variety of armor to increase their odds of survival if they get hit. Unfortunately,Palworldarmor is damaged over time, and so players often have to repair it.
The need to repair armor is expected in a survival game likePalworld, but many players seem to agree that the armor in the game deteriorates too fast. This forcesPalworldplayers to return to their base and repair their armorafter only a handful of fights if they fail to dodge the enemy attacks, and it can cost a lot of resources. The better the armor, the more resources it costs to repair it, and so late-gamePalworldplayers especially have found repairing armor to be a chore.
Palworldis an early access game, and so it’s entirely possible that the resource costs for repairing armor will be tweaked in future updates. The developers havemanyPalworldupdates plannedfor the months ahead that hope to tackle the game’s more egregious technical issues as well as add brand-new features, but it seems entirely possible that some of these updates will also include balance changes. Nothing to that effect has actually been announced so far, though, soPalworldplayers shouldn’t count on armor repairs getting any cheaper just yet.
How to Repair Armor in Palworld
While the resource-cost can be annoying, the good news is that repairing armor inPalworldis otherwise very straight-forward. AllPalworldplayers need to do is build a Repair Bench, which requires 10 Wood and 10 Stone and can be unlocked from the technology tree as early as level 2. From there, all players need to do is use the Repair Bench and select whatever they want to fix, and as long as they have the necessary resources, it should be no issue. For example, theCold Resistant Pelt Armor inPalworldrequires 5 leather and 2 Ice Organs to repair.
