Now, the time has come, andGod Wars: The Complete Legendwas delisted from Switch’seShop. While some companies wait until the end of the day to take the games off sale,God Warsis no longer available right now. Before now, gamers could purchase it for $39.99. However, the title was on sale recently and could be acquired for a measly $3.99 up to August 28. NIS America did not give any official reason for why the game was delisted, but other five titles published by the company left the platform recently, so licensing issues could a be possibility. Games disappearing from Nintendo eShop is far from something rare. Earlier this year, theeShops for 3DS and Wii U closed down, ending an important era of Nintendo’s digital history. At the time, hundreds of games were no longer available for sale, and several devs gave out free codes for people who wanted to snatch these titles before they became unavailable forever.
Nintendo Switch owners who didn’t get the chance to purchase this title have two choices: either to look for another marketplace or settle for a different game. There are severalexcellent turn-based RPGs available on Switchthat can still be acquired, such as theEarthbound-inspiredUndertale, or the classicDragon Quest 11. Gamers who like thePersonaseries, for instance, may also likeBlue Reflection: Second Light, which has elements of living a school life. On the other hand, fans of comedy could playWest of Loathing, a satirical turn-based western adventure.
