A popular trend to celebrate video games is to get tattoos of fan-favorite characters and that is exactly what San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle did to celebrate Halo and the upcoming release ofHalo Infinte.
George Kittle is regarded as one of the best tight ends in the entire NFL. His team, the San Fransico 49ers, are entering the 2020 season as the most recent NFC Champions after losing Super Bowl LIV to the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2018, Kittle set the record for most receiving yards in a season for a tight end with 1,377 yards. In the upcomingMaddengame,Madden NFL 21, Kittle is the highest-rated tight end with a 98 OVR position rating.

Kittle popped into the Neon Dragon tattoo parlor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (his home state) to declare his love forHalopermanently. In a video posted to Twitter, Kittle claims thatHalois one of his favorite video games of all time and that very he’s excited forHalo Infinite. After a few hours in the chair, Kittle’s right arm now proudly displays a tattoo of Master Chief from, judging by the armor,Halo 4.
In the tweet, Kittle includes the hashtag “Xbox partner” signifying that there is some kind of deal in place between Xbox and Kittle. Whatever the partnership may be between the two, fans can expect to see more promotional material from Kittle aboutHaloleading up to the release ofHalo Infinite.

Fans of franchises will make an appointment with a needle to carry around a little piece of a story or a favorite character for life. Kittle’sHalotattoo is impressive, however, it might not be the most famousHalotattoo and it’s certainly not the most important. Recently, at the Xbox Games Showcase, fans got their first look atHalo Infinite’sgameplay and to the displeasure of the development team, fans werevery critical overHalo Infinite’sgraphics. Regardless of the backlash, fans had fun with the showing by creating countless memes featuring an enemy, now named Craig, that appeared during the demo.
