Summary
One ofWorld of Warcraft’s recent epilogue cinematics just set up Iridikron as one of the major villains inThe Last Titan, the third expansion in The Worldsoul Saga. This new cinematic was added to the game as a part ofWorld of WarcraftPatch 10.2.5, Seeds of Renewal.

As the first patch of 2024, Seeds of Renewal began the process of bridging the gap betweenWorld of Warcraft: DragonflightandThe War Within. Full of epilogues and sidequests, this content update is the first offour planned patches between now and the nextWorld of Warcraftexpansion.
One of these major story epilogues included a cinematic featuring Vyranoth and Iridikron, the last twoPrimal Incarnates inWorld of Warcraft. Vyranoth, who turned against her former allies to aid the player in defeating Fyrakk, meets with Iridikron in private, who is disappointed in her after she “abandoned their war.” He gives her one last chance to rejoin him in his crusade against the Titans, which she refuses and rebukes him, claiming it was he who abandoned their righteous cause for his personal goals. He then departs to continue his schemes against the Titans, leaving a final warning to his former companion: “Stay out of my way.”
Iridikron Will Be a Major Villain in The Last Titan
Since his introduction, Iridikron has been popular among manyWorld Warcraftfans. Players have especially enjoyed how he does not underestimate the heroes, as they have successfully slain many powerful beings at this point. While fans were worried when heleft at the end ofWoW’s Patch 10.1.5’s Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon, many are excited the imperious schemer is being set up as a major threat throughout the Worldsoul Saga, and cannot wait to see what he gets up to in The Last Titan.
That said, players might not see Iridikron for a little while now. Xal’atath, theHarbinger of the Void inWorld of Warcraftand Iridikron’s ally, is the villain ofThe War Within, and the major antagonist ofMidnighthas not been revealed yet. While it is likely players might catch glimpses of Iridikron’s plans over the next two expansions, his cryptic warning makes it seem like fans won’t see the full brunt of his schemes untilThe Last Titan.
