Marvel Studios’Moon Knightseries ended at the perfect cliffhanger, with the protagonist’s new alter ego being introduced to fans at the very end. Oscar Isaac’s Jake Lockley was an avatar that fans had been waiting to see appear, and many wondered if his introduction meant that the series would return for a second season. Director Mohamed Diab has now teased Season 2 by sharing a viral TikTok video featuring Isaac and himself, which is seemingly shot in Cairo.

The TikTok video, featuring theMoon Knightdirector and Isaac, went viral on social media on Wednesday, and Diab has now shared it on his official Twitter account. “Moon Knightseason 2?,” he teases, with absolutely no confirmation on whether the video confirming the second season of theMarvel Studiosseries is fake, a joke, or his subtle way of confirming the return of Lockley andMay Calamawy’s Layla El-Faouly. Fan theories have started spinning online, and it seems like it’s all but confirmed thatMoon Knight’s first season isn’t the end of Lockley’s journey.

In the viral video, a TikToker who goes by the name hayaattiaaa films a selfie video on a boat cruising by The Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo. “The question on everyone’s mind, is there a Season 2?,” she asks and pans the camera towardsMoon Knightdirector Diab. He appears confused, looks around, and asks innocently “ofMoon Knight?” The camera then pans to Isaac, who asks with a smirk “why else would we be in Cairo?” The pair is dressed casually, and seem to either be enjoying a leisurely cruise, or scouting the next shoot location.

Since Diab shared the video on Twitter, fans are convinced that this is Marvel’s way of confirmingSeason 2 ofMoon Knight. However, there has been no official confirmation released by the studio yet, so this situation could play either way. The TikToker’s followers, many of whom appear to be fans of Isaac andMoon Knight, are celebrating in the comments section, with many wondering how she remained so calm when sitting right next to the famous duo on a boat.

Moon Knighttold the story of Isaac’s Stephen Grant, who lives with Dissociative Identity Disorder and occasionally meets Marc Spector, his more vicious alter ego. They are seen dealing directly withF. Murray Abraham’s Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon, and are on a mission to stop Ammit, the devourer of souls, from punishing innocent people. The series ended with a lot of possibilities for the protagonist’s journey to continue, and it remains to be seen whether the TikTok video is in fact telling the truth.
