Monster Hunter Riseis an action role-playing video game developed and published byCapcom. The game introduces new features such as the Palamute, an animal companion that can be used to ride across the map and into battle. Initially, the game was released for Nintendo Switch in 2021 and was later ported to Windows, PlayStation, and Xbox. An expansion pack,Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, was also released in June 2022, with the expansion for the new ports to follow later in the year.

Monster Hunter Riseis an actionrole-playing game that features the new Wirebug mechanicwhich allows players to use wire-based grappling actions to traverse challenging terrain and execute aerial attacks. The player takes the role of a Hunter, tasked with hunting down large monsters using various weapons and tools to weaken them while surviving their attacks. Completing quests provides loot, which is used to forge new armor and weapons. The game offers several new monsters, including Magnamalo, the shape-shifting Aknosom, and the amphibious Tetranadon.
The game offers both solo and multiplayer quests and an immersive story mode in which players must investigate the puzzling rampage events that threatenKamura village. In addition to the story mode, players can engage in local or online co-op play, joining up to three other hunters to take on challenging quests together.
