Call of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 4 is now live in the game, and with it comes some new maps for standard multiplayer, 2v2 Gunfight, and the large-scale Ground War mode. The new standard multiplayer map is actually fan favoriteMW2map Scrapyard, updated forModern Warfare, but there is an aspect of the map that is not sitting well with fans.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfarefans have noticed that the catwalk in the Scrapyard warehouse can’t be shot through. This is inconsistent with catwalks and similar structures on other maps, though it is consistent with how the map functioned in the 2009 original. Fans previously complained about changes Infinity Ward made to classic maps like Crash, so perhaps the studio thought it should keep changes to Scrapyard to a minimum.

However, it’s safe to say by the reaction online that manyModern Warfarefans would prefer to see this Scrapyard catwalk changed so that players can shoot through it. The catwalk has become a notorious spot for campers on the map, and some fans feel as though it’s ruining the fun. Whether or not any changes will actually take place remains to be seen, but there is a precedent forInfinity Wardmaking alterations to maps in later updates.
The nextCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdate is expected to drop at some point next week, likely on Tuesday. Whether or not it makes any changes to Scrapyard remains to be seen, but Infinity Ward has released aModern WarfareSeason 4 road mapthat could give fans a pretty good idea of what is coming.
While it’s hard to say exactly what new content will be in the nextModern Warfareupdate, it has been confirmed that Season 4 will be adding the fan favorite game modeOne in the Chamberat some point, along with Team Defender and All or Nothing. Additionally,Modern WarfareSeason 4 will be introducing Gaz as a playable character in the multiplayer mode at some point, along with new weapons like the RYTEC AMR and the Kali Sticks.
