Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers are receiving an increase in notifications that their reports have been successful in banning other players. The confirmation feature was added several months ago as Infinity Ward and Activision wanted to show a direct impact betweenCall of Duty: Warzoneplayer reports and subsequent bans. Now, the community is sharing the confirmation banners as proof that the reports do work.
While a large portion of theCall of Dutycommunity continues to dismiss evidence that reports work, more players continue to get banned from the game. It is unclear if there is any correlation between the contents of the reports versus the effectiveness of them, but the fact thatCall of Duty Warzonecheaters are being bannedseems to be raising player morale.

Reddit users flyingkiwi46 is one of several players that showcased the"Banned Player" news bulletinthat appears. While it does not tell fans exactly who was banned, some players can make an educated guess. In flyingkiwi46’s case, the player they reported was using the stim pack exploit in the fog. After some investigation, flyingkiwi46 noticed that the player in question’s COD tracker shows that they stopped playing several days ago. Prior to the stoppage, the presumed cheater had been regularly logging intoCall of Duty: Warzone. It’s not a guarantee but it was enough for the Reddit user to share their experience and hopefully encourage others to take advantage of the feature.
In the comments, some fans echo popular community beliefs thatActivision randomly distributes banned playerreports without actually banning anyone. One player points out that after several daily reports, they have still never received a banned player confirmation.
Still, many fans believe in the ban system and continue to do their part by reporting players as needed. While some players do abuse the report system by simplyreporting anyone who beats them inCall of Duty: Warzone, other players are honestly trying to make the game a better place.
Fans may never know exactly how the banning process works, as Activision has kept most of it a secret. Whatfans do know is that bans are irreversibleand can vary from temporary bans to permanent IP bans. As Infinity Ward continues to distribute confirmation notices to players, it’s likely that more people like flyingkiwi46 will share their experience and encourage others to do the same.
