With the exciting news that Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have joined forces for a new animation company titled Bandera Entertainment, news reports are swirling that their classic animated series,King of the Hill, is slated for a revival. Nothing is set in stone yet, but fans are already priming themselves for potential new episodes.

Many questions still linger, but one thing is certain.King of the Hillis one of the most beloved American animated series ever, and that popularity has only grown since it finished up its last season in 2010. Thanks to streaming and memes, the show has remained a cultural touchpoint for countless fans, new and old. If the revival series does make it to television screens, there are a few minor characters that fans would love to see make a cameo.
10Chuck Mangione
What wouldKing of the Hillbe without the sweet soulful jazz of Chuck Mangione?Chuck has been making cameos in the show for years, often as a spokesman of Mega Lo Mart. The sax player is hilariously littered throughout various episodes, often in his signature hat and red shirt. If there is a revival, it will need at least one Chuck Mangione cameo to make it official.
9Gilbert Fontaine Dauterive
Bill’s Cajun cousin from Louisiana is a hilarious play on the “southern gentleman” trope, notable for his dramatic flair and memorable quotes. Gilbert would be a fun minor character to bring back for hisnutty dialogue alone. Any episode that is centered around Bill is bound to be comedy gold, but add Gilbert into the mix and it’s a whole new funny. Gilbert only appeared in two episodes ofKing of the Hill, so the character was not overexposed during the show’s original run.
8Carl Moss
The school principal has some of the best lines in the whole show, some of which have gone on to become memes themselves. Whether or not time changes are taken into account in the revival, Principal Moss could or could not still be a character.

If Bobby ages past Tom Landry Middle School then Moss might not appear, but if time has largely stood still as in previous seasons of the show, there is still potential.
7Octavio
Dale’s partner in crime deserves a comeback just as much as anyone on the show. Octavio sees no job as too strange, namely because Dale pays him to do just about the weirdest stuff imaginable. With so little known about Octavio and his background, it’s certainly possible fans could get more details on the man himself in a revival. There’s no telling what these two could getinto in a new season.
6Monsignor Martinez
The gun-toting catholic priest from the showLos Dias y Las Noches de Monsignor Martinezis similar to Chuck Mangione in that he pops up every so often on the television inKing of the Hill. Every time he shows up, he is doing something so over the top it doesn’t even seem real. If there’s an opportunity to throw the Monsignor on the television, hopefully, the writers take it. The Monsignor honestly deserves his own show in of itself.
5Alabaster Jones
Snoop Dogg adds something special to everything he’s in. One of his most memorable roles occurs onKing of the Hillwhen he voices a pimp from Oklahoma City, in one of the best episodes from the whole series thanks to its never-ending barrage of jokes and witty banter between Hank and the pimp. It would be awesome to see thisone-off character return for an episode, really just so fans can hear Hank use the term mac daddy once again.
4Anthony Page
The social worker from thevery first episode ofKing of the Hillwould be a great callback character in a revival. Anthony is the “twig boy” liberal who terrorizes Hank and acts as his foil in several episodes. It would be fun to see the character appear in a next-generation revival for all the silliness he and Hank could spat about. The possibilities are endless for these two to duke it out.
3Dooley
The king of one-liners. Dooley is a staple in theKing of the Hilluniverse, as Bobby’s wise-cracking, monotone friend at school. Dooley is always the one to speak up and say what he’s thinking, even when it isn’t appropriate, making him one of the most iconic side characters in the series.

Without Dooley’s quips, the show would lose something special. He enhances every episode he is in.
2Joe Jack
Joe Jack is the memorable truck driver for Strickland Propane and the star of some of the most iconic moments on the show (such as dancing to Bobby’s rendition of the songWipe Out). If Strickland Propane is still somehow around in the revival, fans would love to see the old gang back, Joe Jack included. Joe Jack is just asimportant a background character as any.
1Buck Strickland
If Joe Jack gets to be in the revival then by gum so does Buck. Hank’s boss and mentor is a sordid soul, but he’s hilarious nonetheless. Maybe not the best boss in the world, Buck is drawn into quick money schemes and promises of loose women more often than Hank would care to admit,but he’s still an integral part of the show. Seeing where ol’ Buck has ended up years after the show’s main run would be a treat.
