Minecraft Legendsis an action-strategy game set in theMinecraftuniverse, in which players rally the mobs of the overworld in an effort to repel an incursion of Piglins from the Nether. The Piglin establish outposts, spreading nether biomes into the surrounding area, and strike out at nearby villages in an effort to destroy their fountains. These Fountains, linked to the Well of Fate, mean everything to the Villagers and are the focus of the player’s defensive efforts.
While defending the overworld inMinecraft Legends, players will not only defend villages and mob homesteads but also lead the charge in pushing the Piglins back. Destroying the Nether Portals at the heart of each Piglin encampment to destroy the entire encampment and repel them from that locale. The game features many staples from theMinecraftworld, including procedural world generation with a wide range of biomes and a focus on gathering resources to build structures and useful tools. The game has two different versions available for purchase at the time of writing, so here are the key differences players should be aware of.

Minecraft Legends Standard Edition
The Standard Edition ofMinecraft Legendsincludes only the game itself, allowing players to experience the campaign, multiplayer modes, and access everything the base game offers. The base game has players progressing through a campaign to fight the Piglin Hordes and build up their army whilst protecting villages and mob homesteads from invasions and attacks. Meanwhile, players can alsoface off against one another in online multiplayer PVP battles.Along with the Online Versus Mode, players can also co-op when challenging the main story, along with any Legend Modes added to the game after launch.
At launch, one such Legend Mode is freely available: “Portal Pile.” In this mode, 1-4 players protect a lone village from an onslaught of attacks from three Nether Portals surrounding it.

Minecraft Legends Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition ofMinecraft Legendsincludes everything found in the Standard Edition of the game. It also gives players one extra player skin and four additional mount skins, offering customization options for the player character and their trusty steeds.
A fifth Mount skin will also be included in this edition but is being added later. Unfortunately,there aren’t many details available regarding the skins includedin this edition at the time of writing, though the icon for the Edition depicts a player in a Leather Helm with Rabbit Ears riding a horse with grey-blue armor.
