As reported by Kotaku,Marvel’s Midnight Sunshas been officially rated M by the Australian Classification Board. With an official rating in tow,Marvel’s Midnight Sunsmay be closer to a release than fans think as such ratings typically precipitate a launch in the near future. Slated for a 2022 release anyhow, it is expected to launch sometime within the next seven months, but could see a release as soon as this summer if development runs smoothly.
The Australian Board determines thatMarvel’s Midnight Sunsis rated M due to “Moderate Impact themes and violence, Mild Impact language, drug use, and sex, and Very Mild Impact nudity.” More has been shared aboutMarvel’s Midnight Suns' turn-based action than its activities and interactions at the Abbey, but these ratings do not seem out of the ordinary for a AAA superhero title.
Until it eventually does receive a release date, fans continue to speculate aboutwhich characters may be added toMarvel’s Midnight Suns. Its roster already features an eclectic cast that differs from its comic book source material, with notable characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Wolverine in the fold as well. Further, the debut of a wholly new and customizable protagonist character is a welcome addition.
It has yet to be seen how extensiveMarvel’s Midnight Suns' battle-card systemand social systems are, nor how many characters it will take to fill out its roster. More details could be on the way soon if its launch is truly near, but fans will have to wait for an official announcement to hear when its new release date will be.
