Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxycombines many different types of gameplay, including third-person shooting, ship combat, and the ability to alter scenes based on dialogue choices. Every decision has the potential to change future plot points, as well as the immediate story.

During Chapter 4, players will present either Groot or Rocket toLady Hellbender inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, but before this, they must decide whether to encourage Drax while negotiating or take over the situation as Star-Lord. The guide will cover the full consequences of both options while trying to sell Groot or Rocket.

Encourage Drax While Negotiating or Take Over in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy?

Encourage Drax While Selling Groot

IfStar-Lord inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxyencourages Drax to take over the negotiations while trying to sell Groot, things turn out well and the message “Drax was surprisingly good at negotiating” will appear on the top-left corner of the screen.

This doesn’t seem to have much of an effect in later chapters ofMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, but it will change some of the dialogue exchanges between teammates. This can be heard while exploring new areas, or listening to the Guardians talk on the Milano.

Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy rocket racoon

SellingGroot in Square Enix’sGuardians of the Galaxyresults in a more sneaky Chapter 4. There will only be one combat situation at the end if players can avoid alerting the fortress guards as they sneak past them and attempt to restore power to the Throne Room.

Encourage Drax While Selling Rocket

If Drax takes over the negotiations while trying to sell Rocket to Lady Hellbender, things do not turn out well, and Rocket will open fire at her and her fortress guards. No dialogue choice will ever mend the situation, as the Monster Queen is not interested in buying Rocket.

Letting Star-Lord take over negotiations won’t help with the situation either, but it does add some awkward attempts from Star-Lord to be charming, in place of the funny awkward flirting from Drax and Lady Hellbender.

Selling Rocket will always lead to a more combat-heavy Chapter 4. Players will battle waves of enemies as they try to escape while attempting to rob Lady Hellbender on their way out so they can pay their Nova Corp fine. Just like when selling Groot, the chapter will always end in a fight with a formidablevillain inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
