Marvel’s Avengersfans have been promised plenty of new content for 2021, with an official roadmap released that details everything coming to the game. However, leaks have promised many more additions beyond this year, and one optimisticMarvel’s Avengersplayer has shown off how the game could eventually look if the leaks are true.
Currently,Marvel’s Avengers’ roster of heroes is 8 characters deep. However,the leaked hero rosterwould see that number almost being tripled, as 16 characters have been leaked for the game. While additions like Hulkbuster have become Ultimate abilities instead, many of the names on the list are fresh. Further, with Kate Bishop proving to be a legitimate DLC character, some credibility has been added to the original leaks. Still, this would be an incredible level of support for the game, as the roster is full of fan favorites and more obscure additions.

With so many possibilities, it is hardly surprising that fans are excited to see who comes to the game after Black Panther and Spider-Man. Redditor mattpat124 showcased a piece of fan art that depicts “what could be,” and it shows an image flooded with Marvel heroes. Using photoshop to add theMarvel: Ultimate Alliance 3versions of Falcon, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange, the piece also throws inInsomniac’s version of Spider-Man. For the other heroes, comic book illustrations are used.
Leaked heroes like She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, War Machine, and Ant-Man and The Wasp also appear. Quake and Spider-Woman can also be seen, with the two obscure additions making surprising appearances on leaked lists as well. Finally, the fan goes out of their way to add characters that have not even appeared in leaks, with X-Men like Quicksilver and Wolverine also being thrown into the post. IfMarvel’s Avengerseven gets half of this content, it is safe to say that the game will have made an impressive turnaround.
While mattpat124 believes that good things are in store forMarvel’s Avengers, other Redditors that commented on the post are not as optimistic. Several players state that they would be shocked if even one third of these characters released, which is a fair argument to make considering the game’s troublesome launch. On the other hand, Redditors like Run8va joke that “2027 is going to be lit,” with other users building off the idea. After all, with such large gaps betweenhero releases inMarvel’s Avengersthus far, it would take years for all these characters to arrive based on the current schedule.
Still, with manyMarvel’s Avengers’ performance issues and bugs now ironed out, perhaps content will begin to drop more frequentlyonce War for Wakanda releases. For now, though, players seem to have a long road ahead of them before something like this image becomes a reality.
