Not only did Glass-Neck-5929 get two copies of the item, but the schematics dropped after the first battle against the Alpha Pal.

Even with the increased drop rate, getting the Legendary Schematic on the first try is extremely lucky. Typically, players will need to grind throughPalworldto reach Alpha Blazamut’s mineshaft home, catch it, and sometimes butcher it with a Meat Cleaver to double the chance of getting the item. Often, this process will have to be repeated at least a few times before the plan drops.
The Legendary Assault Rifle Schematic 4 item has one of the lowest drop rates in the game, with similar rates to the Legendary Rocket Launcher Schematic.
