Lies of Pisn’t just a Soulslike in the sense of combat alone, it also incorporates its own take on “Fashion Souls” as well. Players can find an array of different outfits, masks, and hats throughout their perilous journey through Krat that they can equip to create aunique look forLies of P’s Pinocchio. Many of these cosmetics come from some of the game’s animal-themed Stalker characters that players meet and fight along the way. Some of the game’s best cosmetics, like the Blue Bloods Tailcoat cover garb and the Alchemist’s Cape, are locked behind hidden Trinity Doors that require players to seek out ringing phone booths and answer some brainteasers from the King of Riddles.
Now, with the holiday season in full swing,Lies of Phas revealed via Steamthat it’s gifting players three festive cosmetic items for free in a new update, version 1.4.0.0. The Midwinter Night’s Red Nose, Earnest Reindeer’s Antlers, and Winter Festival Peaked Hat will appear in players' inventories after applyingLies of P’s 1.4.0.0 update. Strangely, no photos of these cosmetic items were provided in the Steam post, nor onLies of P’s Twitter, but the Rudolph the Reindeer red nose and antlers are fitting considering the game’s otheranimal-themed characters like the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, Red Fox, and Black Cat.
Items Added To Lies of P In Update 1.4.0.0:
This isn’t the first timeLies of Phas gifted its playersfree costumes and accessories, as it’s doled out free swag as part of a previous update back in mid-November. In the Steam post,Lies of Padded that this 1.4.0.0 update also makes improvements to the game’s Japanese translation. Furthermore, the developers promised that the Mac version ofLies of Pis still in production and that they’ll share more details as soon as they can.
It’s rare to see popular games hand out free cosmetics to their players at all, let alone so regularly.Lies of Pdevelopers Neowiz and Round 8 Studio have already hinted at DLC for the game, as well as asequel toLies of Pthat was teased in the game’s post-credits scene. SinceLies of Phas only just released a few months ago, it’ll likely be some time before fans learn about the sequel, especially with the DLC more than likely taking priority for now.
