The trailer begins with an introduction ofKirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe’smain story, which sees Kirby and friends travel across Planet Popstar to gather parts for Magolor’s ship. Players will scale, swim, and jump through various levels in solo and co-op modes to find these parts and help Magolor return home. Kirby may inhale and swallow certain enemies to equip one of many copy abilities including Mecha and Sand. The Mecha copy ability uses high-tech weaponry to fire laser beams at enemies, whereas the Sand copy ability allows Kirby to use the earth to evade oncoming attacks and conjure powerful sandstorms.
